The Faculty of Graduate Studies at The University of Jordan announces the beginning of the application period for graduate studies programs in Aqaba branch for the first semester in the academic year 2016-2017 as follows:
First: Application Period
From Wednesday 24/8/2016 till Thursday 1/9/2016.
Kindly make sure to view the study plans of programs in addition to the special conditions of each program and the accredited fees on the electronic Web site of the University of Jordan.
Second: Place and Time of Application:
Place: The University of Jordan – Aqaba branch – Office of Admission and Registration.
Time: From 9:00 AM till 1:00 PM.
Third: Documents Required:
· A copy of the General Secondary Certificate (Tawjihi), or an equivalent.
· A certified copy of the bachelor's degree certificate.
· A certified copy of the diploma (if any).
· A certified copy of the master's degree certificate / for PhD students.
· A certified copy of the grades lists all through the academic years in bachelor's, diploma, and master's.
· The university grades' system for graduates of non-Jordanian universities.
· The equivalence of a certificate accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for certificates issued by official foreign and Arab universities.
· The accreditation of the English language exam certificate (if it is not the national exam) from the Higher Education Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission.
· Three personal pictures.
· A certified copy of the birth certificate, carrying the national number,
· A copy of the civil identity card certified by the Department of Civil Status.
· A copy of the military service book for male students born in 1989 or later.
· A valid approval of study for students who work in official or governmental institutions or any other institutions which require a pre-study approval, such as the University of Jordan and the UJ Hospital.
· A written approval letter issued by the responsible party stating its approval of study for its carrier. This applies for workers at the Jordanian Armed Forces and the security systems.
· A copy of a published research or one which is accepted for publication in a refereed scientific journal for students applying for PhD programs (if any).
