Among the main objectives of The University of Jordan comes its concern to raise general education and social work spirit of students.

As UJ aims at promoting arts, contributing to building students’ personalities, and reinforcing values of creativity and competition, the Deanship of Students’ Affairs annually organizes a sports, culture and arts championship for UJ students.

Master’s and PhD students who wish to represent the Faculty of Graduate Studies in the competitions included in this year’s championship (as illustrated below)  should contact Dr. Mohammad Abushariah, the Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Students’ Affairs, before December 12^th, 2015.

First: Sport Championships:

1.     Football championship

2.     Basketball championship (males)

3.     Basketball championship (females)

4.     Volleyball championship (mixed)

5.     Open badminton championship

6.     Open ping-pong championship

7.     Open championships for the following track and field competitions: (100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 5000m) long jump, triple jump, pole vault, discus throwing, shot put, and suburb race.

10.      All types of plastic art, which include the following:

-         Oil drawing

-         Water colors drawing

-         Pastel drawing
